Privacy policy

Last updated: 8 October 2026

Tandem helps people find others to train with and show up together. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Tandem is run by Gregg Finn and Adam Angel in Tel Aviv, Israel ("we", "us"). Contact us at hello@trainintandem.com.

Early access on our website

If you sign up for early access at trainintandem.com, we keep the email address you give us and, if you add them, your first name, city, what you're training for and whether you have an iPhone. We use them only to invite you to try Tandem and to decide who to invite first. We don't add you to a newsletter or share them with anyone. Email hello@trainintandem.com to be removed at any time.

Why we use it

We do not sell your data and we do not show ads.

Who can see what

Who we share it with

Only the services that run Tandem, each acting for us:

We share information with authorities only when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Until you delete your account. Deleting your account (Settings → Delete account) removes your profile, photos, messages, tags and history straight away; copies in our daily backups are deleted within 7 days, when those backups expire. Clubs you created pass to another member, and people going to your upcoming sessions are told they're cancelled.

Your choices and rights

If you're in the UK or EU you also have rights under data protection law, including complaining to your local regulator.

Age

Tandem is for adults, 18 and over.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect.
